We couldn't get here all by ourselves so here are the people that helped us to get to where we are and how they helped us in our journey to success.

BOTANICAL GARDENS

The Botanical Gardens gave us a tour of our Australian native plants and they had their own mini colony of Sydney Stingless Bees so they were able to educate us of the living conditions of the bees and how we should take care of them. They also told us about pollination and how things can get pollinated.

STEM ACADEMY

The STEM Academy trained our teachers in bringing STEM learning into our classroom. We were fortunate to have Stuart Palmer came in to teach us about how bees are connected to mathematics.

Waverley
Council

Waverley Council has kindly donated $2225 to help fund our STEM project. The funding was used to cover the cost of our trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens, purchase the beehive and allow Elke to run two wonderful workshops. Without the funding from Waverley Council we would not have been able to learn as much as we have about our wonderful native bees.
